About This Project

A New Beginning
The project began with a clean slate, allowing us to reimagine the layout and design of the home completely. With a focus on modern living for a large family with young children, we incorporated a range of new features and spaces designed to enhance the aesthetics and functionality.

Thoughtful Design and Layout
The newly refurbished chalet bungalow now boasts:

• Five Bedrooms: Generously sized and designed with comfort in mind, providing ample space for family and guests.
• Three Bathrooms: Luxurious and functional, these bathrooms feature modern fixtures and finishes that elevate the everyday experience.
• Snug and Office: Versatile spaces that cater to both relaxation and productivity, making the home adaptable to the needs of its residents.
• Open-Plan Kitchen and Dining Room: The heart of the home, designed for both cooking and entertaining, fostering a sense of togetherness.

Expansive Living Areas
To enhance the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, the project included two sets of large bifold doors at the rear of the house. These doors not only flood the interior with natural light but also provide seamless access to the outdoor areas, perfect for entertaining or enjoying the garden.

Modern Amenities and Comfort
This transformation included new electrics and plumbing throughout the home, ensuring efficiency and reliability. Underfloor heating was installed underneath the tiles that run through the main body of this home, providing warmth to a durable floor covering.

Landscaping and Aesthetic Appeal
No part of the house was left untouched, including the landscaping at both the front and rear. The design of the home features a modern yet classic aesthetic, characterised by dark and soft tones. The tiled timber effect floor adds warmth and texture, while oak worktops complement the dark grey kitchen units, creating a sophisticated ambiance.
